7/23/11: Some More Green Summer Skirts + Sale

While I was in the middle of trying to pull together a Green Summer Skirt design to utilize the green twill I had, I went to an old faithful source for inspiration: Shabby Apple.

Shabby Apple is a online women's clothing boutique that offers mainly dresses and skirts, and for me, loads of great ideas. They have made several collections over the years so it is really endless!

Because I was so limited on my yardage I didn't wind up mimicking any of Shabby Apple's designs. But that has not stopped me from oohing and aahing over these pretty options:

{ the Ain't She Sweet dress }

{ the Gondola dress }

{ the L'Amoure dress }

{ the Mariposa Grove dress }

{ the Ahoy! dress }

Oh, oh, look! Another Green Summer Skirt I could make. . . It is part of their new Set Sail collection.

{ the Land Ho! skirt }

It is a great time to head on over to Shabby Apple because their having a 20% off Summer Sale right now. Make sure to visit soon!

I've always wanted to recreate a version of the L'Amoure dress. I really like those ruffles in front and it looks like such an easy breezy dress to wear.
