11/18/10: Own a Bit of Art and Needlework

My bit of news for you today concerns my afghan that I crocheted last Spring. To help jog your memory, you can visit some of my past posts here or go to my Ravelry page here.

I had it up for sale at my family's farm market this past season but it still hasn't found a new home. Since it is the middle of November and snow will be here before we know it, I will be auctioning it off on Ebay. The auction will begin this coming weekend (20th-21st) and I will be returning to this same post with a link as soon as I put it up for auction. The starting bid will be $65.

Here is a description of the afghan:

This afghan was made crocheted using 100% soft acrylic yarn, which can be machine washed and dried. It measures 49"x48". The crochet pattern was designed by Ellen Gormley and was published in Crochet Today magazine under the name "Sunny Spread."

So make sure you come back here this coming weekend to obtain the link to the auction. If you have any questions about the afghan or auction, just leave a comment here or email me via my profile.

UPDATE, 11/21/10: So here is the link for all who are interested!
